We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the water sector to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment for water treatment and distribution projects. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring that all engineering solutions meet industry standards and client specifications. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing water infrastructure, improving efficiency, and ensuring sustainability in all mechanical engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles as they apply to the water industry, including hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and thermal systems. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while also liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals. Strong project management skills are essential, as you will be expected to develop project timelines, allocate resources, and manage budgets effectively. A commitment to innovation and continuous improvement is vital, as is the ability to stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

To excel in this role, you should hold a relevant degree in mechanical engineering and possess professional accreditation. A minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the water sector is required, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, are essential for this position. Join us in delivering sustainable solutions that make a meaningful impact on communities and the environment.
