We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated UK QEHS Manager with a focus on Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and Building Services to lead our quality, environmental, health, and safety initiatives across multiple sites. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust QEHS management systems in line with regulatory requirements and best practices. You will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include providing guidance and support to project teams, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability, and ensuring all staff are trained in QEHS policies and procedures. You will oversee incident investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis, while also managing the preparation of QEHS documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration with various departments to promote an integrated approach to QEHS management will be essential, as well as staying abreast of industry trends and legislative changes to ensure continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and possess extensive experience in QEHS management within the M&E or building services sector. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a proven track record of driving QEHS initiatives and achieving compliance. A professional qualification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH) and membership of a relevant professional body will be advantageous.
