We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive mechanical cost estimates for various projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project timelines. You will analyze project documents, including drawings and specifications, to develop detailed estimates while collaborating with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting site visits and evaluations to gather necessary data for precise cost assessments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes. You will be expected to manage the full estimating process, including bid preparation, pricing, and submission. Furthermore, you will monitor project costs and provide recommendations for cost savings and value engineering. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to obtain pricing information and resolve discrepancies. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of estimating experience in the mechanical construction industry, is required. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential for success in this role.
