We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a focus on the water sector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment used in water treatment, distribution, and wastewater management projects. You will lead engineering efforts from concept through to execution, ensuring that projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while establishing best practices in mechanical engineering.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and material science, with experience in the development of mechanical systems specific to water infrastructure. You will be tasked with conducting feasibility studies, preparing detailed specifications, and overseeing the procurement of equipment. Additionally, you will perform rigorous calculations and simulations to validate designs, while ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively are essential.

To be successful in this position, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the water sector. Professional Engineering (PE) licensure is highly preferred. Strong project management skills and familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools will be advantageous.
