Key responsibilities include analyzing tender documents, creating detailed cost breakdowns, and maintaining a database of historical costs to inform future estimates. You will also be required to assess risks and provide recommendations to mitigate potential issues that may affect project budgets.

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in relevant estimating software. The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is crucial. Additionally, you will need excellent analytical and numerical skills, along with the capability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred, and prior experience in estimating for M&E projects will be highly advantageous.
