We are seeking a skilled MEP Quality Engineer to join our team for the HS2 Main Works project. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations. You will collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures. Your expertise will be essential in conducting inspections, audits, and testing of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
As an MEP Quality Engineer, your primary duties will include reviewing design documents and construction methodologies to identify potential quality issues early in the process. You will be tasked with preparing quality control plans and conducting regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and adherence to safety regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting non-conformance reports, coordinating corrective actions, and facilitating quality training sessions for project staff. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will be required to interface with various stakeholders to promote a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle.
