The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and construction, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar estimating role. Proficiency in estimation software and a solid understanding of mechanical codes and regulations are essential. You should possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills are also crucial, as you will be interfacing with various stakeholders to clarify project details and negotiate terms. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications in cost estimation or project management.
