You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure designs are executed as intended. Experience with manufacturing processes and a solid understanding of materials selection will be advantageous in this role.
